Returns & Refunds  

Trophies Etc pride ourselves on quality merchandise and workmanship. Our customers rarely have cause to return items. However, in the event that a return becomes necessary, please take our return and refund policy into consideration.

We offer customers a choice between exchange, refund or credit under the following circumstances:

  1. Items supplied are faulty or defective or;
  2. They are returned as unsuitable for the purpose for which they were bought - and that purpose was made known to Trophies Etc at the time of the sale; or
  3. The items do not match the description; or
  4. The items differ from the physical sample inspected;

Trophies Etc does NOT offer exchange, refund or credit under the following circumstances:

  1. Where the customer has changed their mind, (unwanted gifts for example) or;
  2. Where a customer has found the items cheaper elsewhere, or;
  3. A customer decides they can not afford the item, or;
  4. Where a fault was made known to the customer at the time of sale, or;
  5. Where actions of the customer have caused the item to fail,
  6. Where the items have been damaged in transit. In this case, please contact us, so the transit insurance claim procedure can be started ASAP.

Please note:

  1. Refunds or exchanges are issued after receipt and inspection of returned items. Refunds or exchanges do not include original shipping and handling charges.
  2. All requests for exchange, refund or credit must include a copy of the valid tax invoice issued to the customer by Trophies Etc.
  3. Refunds for items will be given in the same manner that payment was received.
  4. Refunds on purchases made with a credit card will only be credited to the same card.

Freight Charges for returns:

  1. Freight charges on returned items are the customer's responsibility;
  2. Trophies Etc will match the freight method and pay for outbound freight on replacement or exchange item(s).
  3. Trophies Etc will not pay for freight for non-faulty or non-defective items;
  4. Trophies Etc will only cover the inbound freight cost of the returned item if the wrong item was sent to the customer.

Advance Exchanges:

If the customer requests that the new product be sent prior to Trophies Etc receiving the product to be exchanged, Trophies Etc will invoice and charge the customer’s credit card for the new product. Upon receipt of the original product, Trophies Etc will credit the customer's account and credit card.

Insurance:

For your protection, we strongly recommend you fully insure your returning items in case of loss or damage.
